I heard this show called “The Urban Man‘“earlier in the week on KCRW, and I really just can’t decide whether I like radio host (Mark Porter Zasada) or not. I relate to the whole “getting a grip on modern life in LA,” thing and it’s easy listening, but he should really lighten up on the “I’m completely and utterly jaded” front.

I can’t wait for this year’s Super Bowl! 9 days, 7 hours and 38 minutes until I surround myself with good friends, barrels of beer, finger foods galore (spinach dip is my favorite) and side bets on the outcome of the coin toss (tails never fails) and whether the first commercial will be a car or a beer advertisement. This is my first attempt at a blog. I’m not exactly sure what is going to happen when I click submit, but if I had to guess based on the word blog it’s not going to be good. “Blog” conjures up images of fat kids picking their noses and underbellies seeping out of t-shirts. What an ugly word to represent such an amazing medium of communication.
